Zvents, the “what’s going on in town” search site, launched a new local search service. I guess they are thinking that while you are looking for a local concert or bookreading that you might want to go out to eat after and so they will show relevant local listings (and provide the ability to review).
According to Compete.com Zvents has been growing pretty well over the past few months. If I were a local business that had some relevance to events it would probably be worth it to make sure they had the most up to date information. At the moment they are not “nofollowing” the links to business’ websites so this could give you a little boost local SEO-wise.
