Gee thanks Overture Google. That Comparison Ad is very helpful and I didn’t need for my organic results to show up above the fold anyhow.

WOW!! 100px?! Google increasingly seeking organic eliminated from the eyes of users.

Google just wants the popularity of Adwords over Organic results.

Here comes the more important question – why would one have to look for a hotel in the town they live in 😉

….and in other news. “Google’s quality control team will start penalizing websites that place too many adds above the fold.”….just say’in =)

I’d say if Google continues on that ego trip they will see a backlash at some point.
But to Chris’ point I’ve seen search results for the alarm system industry where ADT runs five Google ads on one page and nobody speaks up.

The adwords will end up taking care of the results for some queries very busy, this is bad for those who depend on the organic search. Good for those who pay.

At some point google users will turn to other avenues to get more relevant results and it will be happening sooner rather than later- would you watch TV if 50 percent to the information were commercials?

I agree with Annett, there is a limit before people speak up. I think it’s already started. Every SEO should email google and voice their opinion.
