Was The Wix SEO Hero Contest Good For Wix’ Online Reputation?

Now maybe these results looked a lot worse before the contest so I can’t say for sure it wasn’t partially successful as an ORM play. But if people still have problems/questions about their Wix website’s SEO, they are going to keep Googling them and posting them which will likely bring back more undesired results.

As with everything else SEO, the ultimate sustainable answer is “make it good for users”.

And the fact that Patrick Stox did not get some kind of prize from Wix is a crime. The guy is a true SEO hero (Wouldn’t be surprised to find him leaping around his office in an SEO Hero cape and tights).
