    Andy,

Where is this position data coming from? Specific keyword sets?

Somewhat interestingly, at least in legal SERPs, general directory sites (i.e. Yelp) seem to have lost big. Legal-specific directories (i.e. Avvo, FindLaw, Lawyers.com) still dominating. Thumbtack appears to be one of the few exceptions to this trend.

Interested – from checking out the data in New Zealand, our local directories haven’t been doorwayed yet but I’ll definitely keep my eyes peeled.
