Ok this is not much of a SEO post but all politics is local right?

I was catching up on the whole sort of alleged John McCain lobbyist affair with Vicki Iseman, a lobbyist for Alcade & Fay, and found a story about how Iseman’s bio was pulled from the firm’s website. If you are looking for the scintillating details of the other half of the McCain scandal all you have to do is go to Google and search the following

site:alcalde-fay.com “vicki iseman”

and click on the cached version.

And here’s the McCain New York Times story for those of you for whom LocalSEOGuide is your default home page 🙂

Or, since the bio was not pulled, just go look at it.

Well now that takes all of the fun out of it doesn’t it?

From what I can tell it looks like Alcade & Fay took Vicki Eisman’s bio down and then put it up again.

I think this is the 2nd conspiracy, you’ve uncovered in 2 nights Andrew. Who knows, Citysearch could’ve done that same switch. Keep up the good work… this blog is making the internet a better place. 🙂

Ohh this story is fun. It shows corruption even in the self proclaimed incorruptible whether it is true or not it is nice to see a good cover up operation in the works.

    This SEO loves some politics.

John McCain and Vicki Iseman look like one of those weird brother/sister couples. The type that’d invite you and your wife over “for a hot tub”.
