I am reposting my “mother of all” Google Plus Tips & Shortcuts post because since I published it last week I have been steadily adding to it as new tips have come in. Not sure how many there are, but looks like about 50. Here are two of my recent faves:

  1. Install the Google CSS Tricks Chrome Extension to pin the top of your G+ nav bar to the top of the browser screen as you scroll.
  2. Google+ tip for Mac users with trackpads/Magic trackpads. Swipe left/right with 3 fingers to navigate between some of the main sections of Google+ (streams, photos etc.).

Also trying to push some of the sites that have stolen this content down in the SERPs.

Have you had a chance to try all of these tips or are you just aggregating a list of them? I appreciate your contribution either way.

Have you tested Google + yet to see how much weight Google is placing on it for ranking sites linked to?

I did find this – Google+ Settings (under gear icon top left) > Profile/Privacy > Network Visibility > click on area of friends/circles which will highlight in blue, and change setting from ‘Anyone’ to ‘Your Circles’
