Just saw via Greg that DexKnows just launched some widgets so you can put a yellow pages search box on your blog, MySpace page, etc.

Here’s what it looks like to a user:

Ha Ha Ha. Looks like widgets can get you lots of links. 🙂

    Andrew,

Ultimately, it’s our responsibility to get Dex advertisers in front of web users in as many ways possible while at the same time providing consumers with a number of ways to search. Allowing anyone to add the local business search functionality of DexKnows.com to a webpage enhances the opportunity for our advertisers to connect with consumers.

Regarding widgetbox, there are some limitations – such as the ability to get a clean SEO link to your site – but it also offers some nice advantages, such as:

    – Highly visited site…they currently do have the world’s largest collection of widgets and lead the widget space online.
    – Social networking support…easy way for users to put widget into sites like Facebook, Blogger, Ning, etc…

FYI, here is the link to all the Dex tools:

We have a weather widget on WidgetBox (that someone else put up actually) and we get a clean link back to our site no problem.

Almost 10000 installs on WidgetBox too.
