Per my previous post on CitySquare’s success with online coupons, it seems like offering deals on your site is the way to go in this meltdown.  I had lunch today with Loren Bendele, CEO of Savings.com, a deal aggregator.  According to Loren they had a record month last month in what would normally be a flat time of year.

According to Google Insights it looks like the search volume for “online coupons” has about doubled in the last ninety days.

Does your business have a SEO strategy for “coupons”?  You might want to consider it.

I’m offering discounts always have and always will – good times or bad times…..

I’d love to get a good online coupon going though – there was a cut and paste script I used years ago but I can’t remember the name.

I am, after all, http://www.joetheseo.com so anything is possible 🙂

    Best

Hi Andrew, I am the owner of http://www.supercoolcoupons.com/ and would like to add our strategy of SEOing our coupon codes website –

    1. We have mainly focus on onpage SEO to begin with as wordpress creates lot of problems of content duplication as well as adding category pages with bad url’s.

    2. currently we are working on link building with mixed results.

Can you suggest us few seo tips like how can we improve our coupon site ?

Interesting insight….most local search directories have coupons more or less as an afterthought. The trick will be to bring them front stage for click2connect.com
